What Matters Most To Me

My path to birth work started long before I became a doula. I attended my first birth at twelve years old, and something changed in me. I fell in love with birth, fascinated by both the beauty of it and the science behind it.

After earning a degree in biology and spending more than two decades caring for families as a nanny, household manager, and personal assistant, God gently led me back to the calling He planted all those years ago. Today, I have the incredible privilege of walking beside families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with steady support, compassionate care, and a heart that trusts both God’s design and evidence-based practice.

Presence

Birth doesn’t need constant talking—it needs someone who knows when to speak and when to simply be present. Some of the most meaningful support I offer comes through quiet reassurance, steady guidance, and creating a calm space where you feel safe, seen, and never alone.

Encouragement

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” — Philippians 4:13. My confidence isn’t in having all the answers—it’s in the One who gives strength. Whether or not you share my faith, I will encourage you, believe in you, and help you find the confidence to do what you were created to do.

Grace

Birth is beautifully unpredictable. Plans change. Birth changes. Sometimes everything changes. In those moments, grace matters most. My role is to meet you where you are, adapt alongside you, and provide unwavering support no matter how your story unfolds.
